Jupiter Uranus Conjunction April 2024

When two outer planets meet it’s always a big event. Once every 14 years ‘faster’ moving Jupiter catches up to meet with the rebel of the Universe, Uranus.

The next time they meet is April 21st, 2024 (UK time 2.30-3.30AMBST) in the earth sign of Taurus at 21” 49’.

Jupiter is the planet that expands whatever it’s in contact with. Often seen as benevolent (but it depends on what it’s expanding really!).

Uranus, the creative rebel is about breakthroughs, revelations and freedom with an ‘unexpected’ quality.

These 14year cycles are one of the great predictors of our collective happenings. When the two planets meet it starts a new cycle (in astrology we call a synodic cycle in astrology).

The last time this conjunction happened in the earth sign of Taurus was in 1941. In astrology we often look back at the patterns and themes that happened ‘last time’. Although remember with Uranus’ unexpected energy it’s the hardest to predict exactly, we just know ‘something’ will happen.

Taurus rules money, love, value, and earthly things like our body.

Themes we might experience then are:

  • Midas touch around money, that’s not real (get quick rich schemes beware of)

  • A huge change in the way we deal with a handle money - like ending paper money?

  • A potential boom bust

  • Equal pay for women and men ( a theme from 1941 when women went to work during WW2).

  • Revelations around our body and health and how we connect with our bodies.

What will it mean for you personally?

If you have planets at 21 Taurus you’ll feel this profoundly. If you have any planets at 21 in Virgo or Capricorn this will be a trine aspect for you. Anything at 21 in the fixed signs Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo will also feel this strongly as a square or opposition aspect. You could use up to a 5” orb for this transit and you’ll feel it as it’s applying and building up before the actual conjunction on April 20th/21st (depending on your time zone).

This is such a big conjunction is so it’s not ‘just a day’, but rather it’s setting off a new frequency, a new chapter for us.

It’s a time for shocks, surprises, revelations, shaking things up,, doing things differently, shedding an old skin, quantum jump.

Likely to expereince a need to feel ALIVE, and break up with same old routines and patterns.

It’s a really exciting time.
