Elevate & Nourish Meditation Retreat

I’m delighted to share that I’m collaborating with Balance Holidays to be the leading expert for the Elevate & Nourish retreat on the stunning island of Mallorca. It will be 5 days of meditation, mindfulness, workshops all immersed within the beautiful surroundings of Finca Serena. I’ll be joined by expert chef Morgan Witkin who has a very similar philosophy to me when it comes to food and nourishment. I’m so excited for the food Morgan will be creating for us which will be based on local, in season produce and designed to complement the retreat perfectly.

Here’s a little overview of what to expect during the retreat…

We welcome you to the Elevate and Nourish Retreat. This is an opportunity to truly nourish your soul on all levels in the sunny surroundings of a beautiful traditional Spanish finca on the Balearic island of Palma de Mallorca.

This retreat is an invitation to take a deep pause from the busyness of life to come back to your true self.  It is an opportunity to rejuvenate through meditation, nutrition and nature. Nourishing yourself on all levels to feel elevated and rejuvenated. 

Balance Holidays welcomes Belinda Matwali and Morgan Witkin as the leading experts on this program. The retreat has been specifically designed to provide you with a profound soul nourishment experience by combining mindfulness, meditation and plant-based nutrition, soul nourishment workshops and nature therapy.  

Most of us associate nutrition and nourishment with food, but throughout this retreat both Belinda and Morgan will be sharing insights as to how we can be nourished by our environment, and practices such as meditation to help you to feel Elevated and Nourished. 

You’ll be learning and experiencing meditation and mindfulness on a daily basis providing a deep reset and feeling of landing deely within yourself.  Through the in depth workshops another layer of learning happens as you’ll get the chance to explore how to nourish your energy body, tone your nervous system, lean deeper into your intuition and awaken your bliss body. Through these sessions of deeper exploration we hope that you’ll leave feeling like your own best friend with a greater sense of self, sense of clarity, increased resilience and tools to help you with decisions and fine tuning the direction you want to take in life.  

Imagine starting your days with lemon water as you enjoy the warmth of the Mallorcan sunrise and gently stretch and awaken your body with some gentle embodiment practices to awaken your energy channels and remove tension to prepare you for your meditation lesson and session. Followed by the most delicious breakfast that has been curated specifically to nourish you on all levels, before embarking on a guided walking meditation as you immerse yourself in the sights and smells of the nature and orchards that surround the finca. 

Your days will then be spent in interactive workshops exploring all aspects of soul nourishment. The immersive workshops are designed for you to learn how to apply principles to you as an individual and learn more about the subtle aspects of your nature such as your energy body, nervous system, bliss body and more. You’ll have an opportunity to participate in a herb workshop to learn about local herbs and plants that can be used in food and teas to provide extra nutrients in ways that may be new to you.

Your evenings will be spent enjoying a light supper followed by relaxing practices such as yoga nidra and meditation to help you set intentions, work with positive affirmations in relaxed states of consciousness and pave the way for a deep slumber. On the second night of our retreat we are gifted with a beautiful Taurus New Moon that aligns as an Eclipse. Solar Eclipses are powerful moments for new beginnings and quantum leaps, a wonderful energy to be blessed with during our retreat. Being immersed in nature it’s the perfect time for you to explore the phases of the moon. In one of our workshops you’ll be shown how to work with the moon in your personal astrological chart. 

Since nourishment is such a key part of this retreat Belinda and Morgan have created a special Spiritual Nutrition Workshop for you to explore the many ways we are nourished. When we eat food we are also ‘consuming’ the energy of that food. So where the food is grown, and how it is treated and prepared is really important at this level. 

The meals you’ll enjoy during the retreat have been carefully designed to be in tune with the cycles of nature and using as much local produce as possible. Morgan together with Balance Holidays has curated a very special menu to reflect the local springtime produce available in Mallorca incorporating her vast knowledge of integrative nutrition and wholefood preparation that will be sure to be a gastronomic delight! Morgan is a wealth of knowledge and loves to share a seat at the table with you to answer any questions and share the special details that have gone into each meal. 

Between workshops and meals you’ll rest in your beautiful room within Finca Serena. As the name suggests this is a very serene landscape, tucked away like an untold secret amongst 10 hectares of undulating landscape. Around the finca you can explore tumbling cypress trees, fields of lavender, vineyards, olive, lemon and orange groves. Finca Serena is an expression of authentic and laid-back luxury living that is the perfect backdrop for you to rejuvenate during the Elevate and Nourish retreat. 

Ultimately this experience will provide the opportunity for you to take a pause from the everyday busyness of life and come back to your deepest self in a very nourishing way. This is a true “immersive wellness” experience in that we hope all the tools and techniques that you learn you’ll be able to immerse in your own life even after the retreat is over. Once we create a new perspective about what nourishment means and we’ve experienced the elevation that comes from daily meditation, mindfulness and good food, it makes it hard to live any other way. It’s our intention that the lessons and wisdom you learn and experience during the retreat will stay with you for a long time afterwards, and during any times of challenge you’ll have a toolkit of resources to come back to yourself and navigate life.
