Navigating Your Uranus Opposition Uranus Transit
Around midlife (currently for those born i1978-1981 the age of 43 to 45) we experience the transit of Uranus being opposite our natal placement of Uranus. This transit is one of three midlife transits that happens around our early forties and is often part of what society calls a ‘mid life crisis’. When we hear that term we may think it sounds negative - but that is because society has wildly underestimated how powerful these transits can be when we know how to work with them. Like any major transit how we approach these then lays the ground for how we experience other transits in our life - like our Chiron return at 50-51.
These transits are portals for greater maturation as a human being and depth in our spiritual experiences, and often deeply misunderstood in our society. This is a really important time for spiritual development as there is often a surge in kundalini energy (Uranus is very electric and relates to our energy/electricity aspects of us!). We experience kundalini energy as creativity and through our sexuality. However if there are many emotional energy blocks then the extra kundalini energy trying to move through them can feel difficult and this really is a time to work through old emotional traumas and blocks so we can then channel the energy into creative desires.
The Uranus transit is often thought of as ‘reclaiming’ our youth - think the guy with the sports car for example. But this transit can offer so much richness in terms of our creativity if we channel it correctly as stated above.

This can be a time of really exciting creativity or can be a time of major regrets. It’s up to us how we use it for our growth. As Uranus is a slow moving planet we only get this aspect once in our life, so it’s best to make the most of it!
