The Unconscious Super Conscious and Spirituality
Spiritual mentoring with me is more than just doing healing work, and bringing the unconscious subconscious to light. Even though that’s very important, we need to balance that out, with also going into the unconscious, super conscious.
We do this through meditation, honing, intuition, and depending on your different cultural and religious beliefs, working with guides and energies and connecting to them, as they are also guiding us. I find the work by Sonia Choquette super inspiring on this last topic.
There are so many parts of the superconscious world that were unconscious us. And I believe that this is where a lot of faith comes into play. Sometimes we can’t see the way. Sometimes we do need to trust in a force greater than ourselves and this is a really important part of spirituality.
Spirituality is so multifaceted. It is about trusting and having faith in our own beliefs, but for me, it’s also recognising that the world in the universe is sometimes so much larger than us.
We are not in complete control. You probably recognise this when curveballs happen in your life. Sometimes the best things that happened in your life with things that you never planned with your mind. And so working at this level is just as important as working on the unconscious subconscious beliefs that drive our life. In fact, it’s very difficult to truly separate these things because they go hand-in-hand.
When we understand some of the challenges in our life there, because our soul chose to go through some kind of initiation or lesson, sometimes it can make that challenge. I have more meaning and we can ask for more support around it.
One of my favourite quotes is the one by A H Amlaas below.
I think this is a beautiful example of the subconscious in the superconscious coming together, and how leaning into spiritual perspectives can be so helpful on our healing journeys.
“Your conflicts, all the difficult things, the problematic situations in your life are not chance or haphazard. They are actually yours. They are specifically yours, designed specifically for you by a part of you that loves you more than anything else. The part of you that loves you more than anything else has created roadblocks to lead you to yourself. You are not going in the right direction unless there is something pricking you in the side, telling you, “Look here! This way!” That part of you loves you so much that it doesn’t want you to lose the chance. It will go to extreme measures to wake you up, it will make you suffer greatly if you don’t listen. What else can it do? That is its purpose.”
